Driven by Governance (A2R) and Business (A2B) improvement objectives Opteon streamlined the “”Capital Wheel” of investment processes at SCA-packaging making full use of SAP. SCA Packaging is a leading protective package supplier, second largest producer in the European Corrugated market with over 200 producing units in 25 countries. Worldwide sales in 2007 exceeded € 3.6 billion and employment exceeds 17,000.
The “Capital wheel” at SCA was supported by a mix of Excel and web-based applications. Deploying the SAP DMS, HR, IM and WF modules in a first phase and the PS module in a second phase Opteon managed to streamline the Capital Wheel and integrate it much better with the full business budget cycle.
